Database Errors

There are always potential database errors that might occur when connecting to your game servers database. We will attempt to cover some of these errors below.

Connection Refused

This error is related to either permissions or the machine is actively refusing the connection to the mysql server. It is a common practice in the web hosting industry for this port to be blocked. • Check your firewall on the machine to ensure the ports are opened properly.
• If you are using a CPanel to control your machine, verify that any ports that are needed are properly opened.
• That the ports are opened and forwarded on your router if you are on a residential network.
• If you are using DNS names, that you are not using a front end obfuscator like Cloudflare, which masks your ips.
